INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE EXPERIENCE
Who would not like the opportunity to go to another country for a horticultural experience? Most regions of IPPS offer exchange programs with other regions. Australia has had a long standing program where a young horticulturist from Australia is selected to be hosted by families in Southern Africa in March. They get to experience work in nurseries or gardens as well as sightseeing (sometimes well off the tourist track). All spent in the safe hands of their hosts. They then attend the Southern African IPPS conference and returning to Australia to tell members of their experiences at our conference 'all expenses paid'.
